i have been becoming dumber n dumberer. i am becoming less n less academically inclined.

sad sad truth.


was quiite depressed abt my academic tests,exams and results. i might as well get a A for it. A being absent, that is.


but the world wont end, and no matter what happens, i have a solution. just that it involves time n money. but the module name is marketing n development, that i wanna have a career in! isnt ironic if i just so happen to do badly for this? (fingers crossed and TOUCHWOOD !!! )


lol. i told bf that i am depressed and that we better do some retail therapy for my own good. and he said "ok. shop til u forget u sad". i laughed. he really did spend some time to go retail therapy with me even tho he got VERY bored. heehee.

i love retail therapy!

kim gary hongkie cafe- the critic in me

went to this restuarant called Kim Gary, cause i remember kelly giang said its not bad. but i didnt ordered what she ordered. i found out that not bad= not good either.
thats honey with pomelo. OKay. nothing refreshing though i was expecting it to be. the red bean ice was too milky/coconuty for my taste. i will give it a thumbs down.:(

the surprise was the chili noodles. i didnt expect it to be bigger than my quitebig face!!!

its quite shoick la. the amt of fresh cut chili used is frightening. my lips r a bit swollen just by swallowing the soup. but the soup is nice. the spiciness gave it the hook and the kick. and the shiockness. but it taste very ramen-like. but its supposed to be HONGKIE. right?

the disappointment is the yuanyang baked noodles. the look is so not delectable. not appetizing. not nice. not crave-inducing. the piece of meat looked greyish to me. GAAH:(

think wan zai is better... you can rely on everything to taste not bad and not be turned off by some items.

so do u prefer a restaurant where everything served is not tpp bad, or have a place which has a few star dishes and other items r just CMI?

the critic in me was not satisfied.

simple things in life

firewire met up to go cyclin @ Pasir Ris last weekend!!! first time on a double person bike. the auntie said i CMI cause i am the one shaking the bike.... gah.
KK suffered a toe injury... as he raced with syaz to tell the others not to race, he cycled over his own toe...>,<

but still, he bear the pain n could munch away still :) big guy dont cry!

see the fierceness in his eyes? he is tellin u there is nothing wrong with eating cheese on top of a cake. hasnt any1 heard of cheese cake?

friends n ice scream

highlight of the KL trip was going to Hai Lou n listing to the semi pro singer sing. time pass very fast just sipping mock tails/bubble tea/green tea and listening to good voices sing. this is where those msian singers r often spotted to be in the showbiz!

did i ever mention i feel very time poor. i dun mind being money poor. i can just stop buying whatever clothes/shoes/bags. being time poor is another matter all together. how do u save time? when so many time-issues are outta your control?

met up with old friends for the past 2 weeks:) do i look like a twitty teen? cause we r already 21 and she is blessed with a kid...

yufen can shop with a baby in one arm. every sales assistant go GAGA over the baby boy coz he is quite obedient. doesnt cry for fun... etcetc/. but still carryin him ard is tough to shop. i gave up after 1o mins. hahahahaha. this lucky girl is off to taiwan for a mini honey moon i guess. haha.

then... the day after? met up with ChewYeen. omg, its so so so hard to date her out. its an achievement if she decide to grace her time with u. hahahahahha. we plan a ktv outing since feb, and only accomplish it abt 2 months later.

that was last week end... i think.

this week... i love friday. the workin pace just kind of taper off. after work, me n bf went to Great World City to eat. i think Jap food is becomin our staple.

first time at this restuarant. felt it was nicely decorated n got a authentic service crew who spoke accented Eng. cant confirm if they were from Nihon tho... the menu didnt call fried dumpling gyoza tho. it called them... fried dumpling. n wasabi isnt freely avaible on the table top.

ice cream... so so. my bf is SCARED of strawberries the way i am scared of insects. OMG!! it was hilarious the way he exclaimed in fright n hoorror and gore. hahahaah.

and then, after working ard the mall, we went for Teh Tarik ice cream. i love ice cream! it seems like i cant get enough of it. so i had dessert twice. we bought n just sat down to finish it slowly. he hated the milk tea favour n thought it was disgusting. but it is just frozen teh-bing. hahaha. i love slowing eating my ice cream while talkin to him. he is simple FUNNY;)

finance dpt only got one person n she is abt to go crazy. she asked me to help out on her invoices. but hey, i am paid to be a marketing coord and dun try to extend my job scope without expanding my pay. thank you.
