midnight retail therepy

evon said i was more particular abt shopping than working. LOL. true true. sadly, i did a really fantastically stupid thing at work, so i only hope no1 else will blame mi for my stupidity. =S

after work, met up with my gal pals n we were off to shopping. YEAH. i am a follower of retail therepy. mi n YT got kelly all confused in our superbly broken japanese. whahhaahha. i still laugh when i think of it.

shopping with the crowd is strenous exercise. in the end, we ALL got something! YAY!! happy happy happy! though my mom frowned upon the super high heel i bought. ehhhh. yah, i know i shouldnt buy high heels but i just look better in those!!

and the KTV session with the colleagues aint too bad, i guess. every1 has the chance to sing whatever song they liked. they said my voice was low, resmincent of Ella n Tanya Chua. kekekek. okayyyyyy. joseph once said i look like tanya chua... now i sound like a tinnny bit like her??

the colleagues were reallllly funny! LOL, can? but unfortunately, i broke a glass of drink when i was pullin the mug towards mi. my apologies. luckily, the mood wasnt spoil. *phew.

they were like " okay, now its XXX's chance to sing. when he sings, lets LAUGH!!". and they DID. so XXX got so stressed he just gave up on the song. whahahhahaahah.


n that's 3 weeks down. 21 weeks to go! still hoping things will take a better turn!

worse than i thought

oh my god, i thought brel seriously sucks like hell, but hella's CMS system is even worse!! its even more worse than brel.

it is so bad that i don't know how to describe it.

even the trainer wasnt sure abt the system since she only done it once ... or twice. but in anycase, we can all agree that it is an extremely unfriendly system.

=C fortunately, there is a consences that this system is bery difficult to use so they dont have unrealistic expectations abt the result. thank god. felt very drowsy and stone throughout the 3h session, of which 2 h were taken to TRY to create and upload a page. n in the end, it wasnt a successful attempt.

i felt like weeping.


isnt it very amazing how diverse , how contrasting our thinkin can be? in my current job, i am not busy. i have not many things to do. i dont like my current situation. i want to be involved, to be busy, to know what i am working towards. to know that i am learning something valuable.

maybe after the first month? maybe this is just a one month honeymoon period?


BUT i know there will be loads of ppl who like this kind of situation. what can i say?? i just lucked out.=D. maybe? i am really very not sure.

2 weeks

so brenda the marketing director has left. she has commented that the 2 new marketing coord, has merged into the team of marketing n product management pretty well.=)

that is a happy news to me.

but my eyelid has been seriously twitching during work. i am bracing myself from some spectacular fall from grace though nothing has happen yet. most ppl just tell mi twitching is simply a symptom of exhuastion of the eyes. that's true, the endless hours of researching is makin mi miserable.

at least there is evon to talk crap with mi. whahahhahahaah.

the incident that happened to dear maxine is really an eye opener to me. because of all that i heard n seen from my friends, i dont even entertain the thought of havin relationships easily. i admire her handling of such a situation with grace and maturity.

at 20, we ought to stop being childish , selfish and self-centred. IDEALLY.

girls seemingly always know that they cant give their all into r/s. but they still do unknowingly. n only end up going thru those emotional turmoil. but if they dun give their all into a r/s, then what kind of r/s is that??

but if they dun give their all, at least they can detached themselves faster from those big bad bastards n carry on with their lives and into the next r/s. i think thats something i heard from kelly longlong ago.

i can't help but snigger at this comment. it is just so him. i observe that generally, a guy always need a girl to feel completed. there is so many mundane things that only doing it as a couple, it seems more fun.

Good Friday

yah, i noe Gd Friday was over but today was a literate GOOD friday. hahahhaaa. michelle just suddenly asked to mi to tag along their shoppin trip, so yah, at 10am , i could leave the office and just relax and enjoy. kekekekek.

went 4 places in total, brunch at north bridge road with late lunch at PS cafe cartel in between, and we r done!! go back to office , do some more work and we r free to go!

n i found out that paulina is really interesting, just like me. we r like, the same type. she is polish and polish is such a difficult language! hearin her say stuff in polish is amazing!! she is damm cool.

happen to board the same direction train as stepha(e?)n n i think he is pretty cool as well!! haha, no strange silent pauses is good for me.

mi and kt had time to met up. i had time to drop by FA n i saw weili, roslee, daphe and julie. daphe still with andrew!! wah, i am quite surprised. kekek. roslee is in office now... LOOKS real gentleman, but i tell u, its ALL looks. hahaha.

oh yah, my first business lunch was with pixel tech at flute@fortcanning. semi-fine dining, lobster soup and foire gas... all alien to me the mountain tortoise!! this is inspiration to work hard so that i can enjoy the finer points in life. kekekek.

99.9987 percent of the population in the office is attached or married and they r not even in the mid thirties. and i though ppl married late in this time?? i am shocked(pleasantly) whenever some1 say " My Husband or Wife..." becoz they look just so damm young to have settled down.

she quite friendly and nice and she dun mind lookin out for me leh! hahahahah. i must appreciate all the small acts of kindness! esp when i have no reason to expect them...

today i had a open-mouth-insert-foot kind of situation. wasnt intending for the words to come the way they did, but that always happenns with me. =SSSS

i am still in a positive mood after 3 days. wonder what the future has for me.

internship part 2.

hi all, i went to my brand new company lookin like a tan-freak. i was SO SO SO burnt!!!!!!!!!!!!!


and it is SO SO SO FREAKING PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!.@#$%^PAIN.

delibrately went to buy some mask to pamper my thoroughly spoilt, irritated and damaged skin.


first day of work... the other new girl has the same initials as mi. so it confused them a bit. eh... i feel like it really is internship PART TWO. *HORROR music in the backgrd.

so many freaky freaky deja-vu similiarities.

1. 2 new girl at the same time with some pun on their names. this time, we share the same initials and the first 2 letters of our first names.

2. She is older than me.

3. my direct supervisor is called... MICHELLE. AGAIN!!!!!!!

4. my marketing manager is LEAVING THE COMPANY REAL SOON. AGAIN.

5. it is a six month contract, strictly speakin.


my friend said tht first day is the best. u dun really have any work to do. LOL.he is really right.

overall, the ppl there r quite nice. no airs. i like the HR in charge too!! she is like, the equivallent of chee kheng. bery friendly and wise. hahaha.

a leisure camp

moi finally made it to the ateam leisure camp organised by the big guy and royals at 6pm. after yet another entertaining jap class where the senseii picked on the same guy to tell time yet again, and everytime, he tells the time just as clumsily as the previous time. eh... jkjk.

the queen. pretending to be asleep only. hahahaa.

this guy is definitely one of the funniest guy i ever ever known!! cheers to hasrul!!
the aftermath of the camp. i turned DARKER. not to mention as RED AS A LOBSTER,can?? hahah, tmr i can go to my new workplace lookin as burnt as i could.

overall, yet another camp which i enjoyed a lot. could even sleep up to seven hours. and watch spongebob movie thanks to Jamie!=). maggii mee taste bery nice too. thnx fel for lending a shirt so that i play water game with a safe mind, kana bombed a lot but is still as fun. shachin is just as protective as ever over his leg hair as ever.

think they r all a BERY nice bunch of people.it is really gd luck and honour to know them. not to mention they r SOOO funny!! imagine knocking some1's teeth filling out in an attempt to self-defense!! bery LOL.

n now, my face hurts due to being burnt. every inch of my exposed skin. n i hate those unsightly tan lines .......!=(

being a student is the best.

when she heard abt PB's vicious attack, she said that she will stare her down with her sheer size of her eyes. WHAHAHAHAH. so did alyssa. *touched. we got so many things to catch up. we see each other less than 10 times a YEAR. i missed havin her by my side literately. HAHAHA. but so what. i noe she will stand up for me without askin. i noe she will make time for mi if she can. n thats what matters. thats the strength of friendships.

i am sure firewire can make it too. we been through thick and thin for 3 years!! from kids to adults. hahah. from being black-haired to pink-haired to blond and brown and red. lol. from single to attached. to single and attached AGAIN. hahah. from havin CCA to being MIA. from being in sch to being in production house/office.

oh yah, before i forget, lemme comment on the service standards of cafe cartel. I simply love it! 2 thumbs up. never had a unpleasant experience there. they r fast and friendly, esp the mgr at cityhall branch. keeps me going there again and again! botak jones has gd service too but too long a queue to wait. n no aircon. hha=S.

service is not just something u expect from a restuarant. its also in the way you deal and handle ppl in a professional manner. i say that the treatment i got from one of the OL in the PASTAMANIA office is... -.- lousy, stupid and unfeeling.

i feel the 'thanks and bye' from her has no ounce of sincerity just becoz i am a ex-low-paid staff coming to return uniform. well, i can be fake right back at ya. really!! the girl i was talking to, deserved all the middle fingers in the world for the extremely cold, low E-Q treatment she gave me.

totally displayed her lack of brain cells when i cornered her into admitting that staff r penalised when its really the mgt's fault. N she admitted it WITHOUT sayin an apology. excuse me, the moment i am not ur staff, means that i am a potential client/customer. >,<
