TUESDAY~ BIG day.
the fortunate few of us from ATEAM were lucky enuf to be chosen for poly forum and subsequently the Pre-University Seminar.
we took cab from climenti. courteusy from the SAOffice, of course.
there, we met the equivalent of ATEAM. duno what they r called. and an overly-enthusiatic girl who frightened all of us. no kiddin... she even frightened Ms lina. she sounds so hyper and quite comical. professional doesn come to mind. at all.
so we were ushered into the LT-27. they claimed its gonna start soon. how soon is soon. only abt 1/2 an hour later.-.- so much for rushing us.
Poly students dun need wear blazers, we were labeled under guests.
and Mr Gan's speech was informative and relatively entertaining. but cannot tahann. towards the end, ( 40 mins later ) i had to start resisting yawns.
then the Q and A session. JC ppl r so different... from me. so smart. so differed perspective. they gave off an aura of intelligence. haaai. but they speak in slangs and use complicated manners to convey simple ideas.
since we were guests. we were VIP. what a kick. ( me ? a VIP? so laughable.) they had procelain plates. and some jc students to pick the food of us. they had bite sized cakes, brownies, and even ICE CREAM elcairs. and also sushi... and boooths just for mee sian and some traditional pastries.
wahhh. i am easily impressed.
and i must say that the SAOs , the ones i met personnally ... are ALL SO NICE! so afffadable.
then i finished up my assignments for the fashion thinggy at far east plaza. so i had the waffle on the way.HAH. and i finally got my wedge. totally to die for. cause its so damm high that i can die walkin on it. and a guess wallet going at $30. a must-buy. even the cashier said its a good buy. *=)
i didnt splurge!
reached home quite early.so i decided to entertain my mother a bit. by talkin to her in my CMI hokkien. its so funny to her that she even called my auntie and ask me to talk to her in hokkien.i know i sound funnny. it just doesnt sound natural... so fake. HAH. it IS funny.

i was made IC of the xiang qi event. felicia was my AIC. overall, i think she played a more important role than me. it was she who went to the ( 2H) briefing... i am lucky to be paired with her.
whats with me and foood?
maybe in my past lives i was REALLY VERY short of food and money... therefore i am the way i am now. most happy with the presence of monee and food.
the whole ateam now know my weakness for food.HAHAHHA. how can u still stay slim with the way u eat? i can't! i was slimmer before. lol.
i even met up with SH after the whole day event. my feet is totally multilated after the day. blistered. bruised. bloodied.
but the ice cream was very enjoyable. worth it.
the face of the waiter was priceless when i told him both ice cream sundaes are mine... ( by mistake). pure, unhidden shock and surprise. bet he is thinkin, is she for real? TWO sundaes by herself?! she not afraid of gettin FAT?

kelly poon concert
monday: KELLY POON'S CONCERT!
the gathering time was 8.30 AM and surprisingly almost 90 % of the helpers involved, reached.
what a far cry from our batch. always late and draggin the time.
busied with the preparation and briefing. but since i was just invloved with the backstage, i was pretty free to slack. HAH.
but i had to walk up and down quite a few times to get pen, to get lanyard , to slack etc etc, that i suddenly know i would miss walkin on the walkways once i grad. or once this sem is finished.=(
KP really become more and more pretty! guess once u r famous u just tend to become prettier? so slim. so friendly. and what a big autograph she had.
overall, there was hardly any glitch. HAPPILY. fortunately. it was fun. watchin from the sidelines. listenin to her sing life.
i can do this for a living.
at night, went to see doc. and he just happened to ask wat sort of carreer i wanted. so i could ans without hestitation, events managment. he gave me encouragement BUT... i could sense a but coming up. (" events management...? not for long term, girl... what happens when u become a mother? start a family? no family time! is this what u want?)
no one can predict future, takin whatever he says with a pinch of salt.
but i did feel immensely satisfied after the event was over. even tho i only played a small role and played with the intercom mostly. HAH.

the highlight was the desert that we could hardly wait to get our hands on! so nice to see, so delicious to eat... too bad it was TOO short in supply.HA. indian kids r so pretty and for once, i feel like a minority.

Busy as a bee
i still cough occasionally...
i just finished giving out one hundred surveys to students at the School of Chemical Life Sciences. that's something usually under rachel's territority and today i done it with the other girls. and there is another 500 hundred to go.
i must say that the lecturer was so friendly and i am so lucky to bump into siyan!=)
a HUGE thank-you to all of them!
yesterday had a A-team GM which made my life more events-ful. like literately. gonna be Camp Facilitator!!!!!!!! *yaY! i like! sounds exciting.
despite some of the new batch like so... nua-nua one. HAHHA. hope i am wrong. i know i will haf a great time there. can tell that the ex-co r quite stressed and pushed by VP. she is a certified slave driver when it comes to work. and we all respect her for it. but i am glad i am not there.=)
and there is some severe policticking going on whether its done unconsciously or what.
next monday will be at Kelly Poon's concert! *yay again! something i like again!! wHAHHAHA. at the backstage. with TEP excuse letter and guiding the junoirs around. what more can i ask foR? and i must, i must take loads of pics!
my first ateam duty coming up at the suntec city this sunday. FIRST! after about one year of non-official duties with the club. this must be the most dubious record around.
and i am gonna ask PM to upped my pay to a more decent level... if they say no? then i can really just devote time to tep , ateam and friends =) and screw them! !!!!!

jeffrey and marlo? the lastest BIG trend to go around in TEP. no one ever says "jeffrey" or "marlo" by itself. it ALWAYS "jeffrey and marlo" like its some cousin of Dolce and Gabanna or Charles and Keith.
they are actually our technicians (?) who were introduced to us in pair. one year ago. and i cant differenciate them til today.

dinner time
YAY!
going to dinner with my family later... so hard to find time, now tht i am slavin over at PM...
feel like a zombie whenever at PM. the steps i take seemed especiallly laborious yesterday. cause it was after my FORMAL presentation...
which reminds me... MR SEAH WEE THYE!

he, a man of crushing words, who gave us the word of the month... SINK, has given us a severe culture shock, after 2 years of being cocooned by vivien cheong. all right... its OK, whatever dun kill us makes us stronger.
there is no way to go except up when u r down at the bottom.
right, back to family dinner which i guess is to celebrate the mothers' day.
i hope i dun go to the same place all over again. sian 1/2. eat the same thing. endure the same non existent service... reallly sian 1/2.
and the feedback session with SSL for the broadcast grp. trust kaidi to come up with an analogy involving nasi lemak and chicken rice...* smirk.

i am worried for myself.
wish i am ultra comp savvy. so i can rescue my world. *oh whateVer. people should ask for help when help is better than struggling on their own. regardless of gender.
depressin life at TEP.
but Jalan Kayu was fun. it looked like it could rain but it didnt. had a cheese prata and egg&onion complete with MILO-dinosaur and bad service. me, maxine, kelly, yiting, jiali, kk, alex and syazwan. had a jolly good time. except for the part when ahmad took video of the girls' boobies.
in my opinion, we didnt take enuf pictures! pictures no enuff!
now it makes it only the second time i've been there.
then that guy from the net showed up. i didnt expect anything. was not expecting anything. no expectations then no disappoinments.
cool. he is not a sicko. a normal average guy. who is lookin for a gf, i guess. but too bad i am not lookin for a bf ... not really anyway.( not him!) lol. and i made him gave us all woodlanders a free ride. HAH.

i wish
min is learning jap professionally. not like me, already return everything to cher.
just now, some guy thrust some contact lens brochure to me... and to my shock , it was my senoir when i was workin as the promoter. couldnt remenber his name on the spot. but at least i got his school right. after ten minutes, i remenbered his name is Max. but already too late. ( or is it alan? should be max...)
what a coincidence. i am still in semi-shock.
tep is challenging, to say the least. with the team dynamics and work load...
my friendster profile dun really attract guys to me. i dun get those i-want-2-b-friends-with-u messages often. but now, i get it back to back and the scariest thing is... they r all from the same sch.... NUS. NUS!!!!!!
