yes, it was vday 2 days ago but seriously, bf & me dont give a damm about it. i aint upset abt no flowers or no present since he splurge on birthday gift for me already. i wont ask for more( unnecessarily). hahaha.we had always always been talking abt eating crabs so we took this occasion to splurge on crabs!! we went to this ulu ulu seafood place that doesnt have a bus stop within 400 metres!
mere mortals who cant afford taxi or own transport will never bother to go there.
n we wanted sixty min (!!!!!!!) for one chili crab and one salt baked crab. yes, thats how crabby we were feeling. we ordered nothing else but crabs! we were just damm worried we would waste food- better not take the chance.
the chili crab - good! just nice for people who like it mildly spicy but cant take real spicy. so it was a little not spicy enough for me. but i wolf down half! more than what bf expected. YUMMY.
the second was salt baked crabs. while waiting, i actually already saw numerous salt baked crabs served to other tables. it is the crab which you can taste the original taste of its meat n texture.
i really really had a lot a lot of crabs that day...
2 crabs costs us sixty plus. which is cheap i guess.... for the kind of standard. my friend recommended this place n said its famous. i guess it is ... silently famous & letting the food speak for itself.
not that we spend vday totally on hawker fare... we went for thai food the day before. he was sharing a story on how he made his colleague laugh so hard that he spurted out his drink.
he did it to me too!!!
he said something which i found so funny that i always choked on the mango slice that i was chewing on. he said he could see my saliva spewing out. EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW. major loss of image. but i am more concerned i dont get choked by laughter and die laughing, tho it isnt a bad way to end a life. hahaha.
